With the tournament being held in South Africa, AB de Villiers felt right at home as he decimated the Chennai Super Kings bowlers all around the park to score a scintillating century.

He came out to bat when his side had lost both the openers extremely early on in the innings. However, he put on a huge partnership with Tillakaratne Dilshan for the third wicket which got Delhi back into the game. He carried on after Dilshan's wicket and did not hold back as he smashed the hapless CSK bowlers all around the park.

He eventually went on to score the first century of the tournament and his first ever IPL century as well. His knock of 105 in just 54 deliveries helped DD achieve an 8 run victory in the end.
