Playing against the Mumbai Indians in their own backyard, AB de Villiers came in to bat after Chris Gayle did not trouble the scorers.
However, he made his intentions clear as he took on the bowlers right from the word go and sent them to all parts of the ground.
He took on the likes of Lasith Malinga and Harbhajan Singh with ease as he scored his highest ever score in the IPL. He also put on a 215 run partnership along with Virat Kohli to completely take the game away from Mumbai.
However, RCB failed to qualify for the playoffs and Mumbai went on to win the tournament.
