Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev is considered as one of the greatest all-rounders of all time. Against all odds, he led India to glory in the 1983 Cricket World Cup in England against the mighty West Indies.
One of the finest right arm swing bowlers, Kapil Dev was one of the best hitters of the cricket ball during his time. He played 131 tests and 225 One Day Internationals for India in his illustrious career and scored 9031 international runs and took 6867 international wickets.
Kapil Dev played 4 World Cups for India between 1979 and 1992, scoring 669 runs and taken 28 wickets. He was named by Wisden as the Indian Cricketer of the Century in 2002 and in 2010, he was inducted into ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.
