#4 Brad Haddin - 54
You cannot do much if you are fated to be the second best, can you? The right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman strove hard for opportunities as he was forced to live in the shadows of the great Adam Gilchrist.
But once Gilchrist decided to hang up his boots in 2008, it was time for the then 31-year-old Haddin to make the most of his chances. And he did it quite exceptionally too. He went on to make 66 appearances in the next 7 years for Australia.
Haddin scored a total of 3266 runs batting in the lower order and his fluent skills helped him amass 54 sixes in his brief Test career.
