This was yet another 300-plus run scoring game that is etched in our memories for the high quality batting of Virat Kohli. The chase was constructed masterfully by Virat Kohli.

#2 The Rothmans Four-Nation Cup in Sharjah 1985
This was truly an epic match that has stayed entrenched in every Indian and Pakistani fan's mind. It is remembered for the resilience of Kapil Dev's team and an astonishing bowling performance by a giant named Imran Khan. After Imran destroyed India's batting line-up for a mere 125 runs, the result seemed inevitable and fans were resigned to witnessing a rare one-sided India vs Pakistan affair.
However, India replied by giving a memorable bowling performance, themselves. They dismantled Pakistan for only 87 runs and, thus, registered one of their most exciting wins against Pakistan.
#1 Asia Cup 1986
This match was the finals of the 1986 Asia Cup. Both teams played high quality cricket. Gavaskar played a classic innings of 92 to help India post a formidable 245 run target for Pakistan. But no one remembers all of that.
What everyone remembers is that Javed Miandad unbelievably launched Chetan Sharma's final delivery of the 50th over deep into the stands and gave Pakistan a historic victory. For that performance, Miandad will forever be remembered as the man who broke a billion hearts!
