Brendon McCullum once again scored an unbeaten 158 after seven years from his greatest IPL knock. He represented Warwickshire in T20 Blast 2015. This knock will be momentous for him and his fans as it was his home debut in the competition.
McCullum's knock of 158* consists of 13 fours and 11 sixes. He was involved in the 160-run opening partnership with the skipper Varun Chopra, who scored 51. Baz scored his century off 42 balls, and rest of his 58 runs came off just 22 balls. He carried the bat throughout the innings. Warwickshire scored 242/2 in 20 overs.
Warwickshire stumbled Derbyshire to a score of 182 runs, and it ensured their win in the tournament.
Brendon McCullum got the award of the man of the match for his explosive knock and remained the highest individual score in T20 Blast history till 17 August 2017. Adam Lyth broke that record by scoring 161 against Northamptonshire.
