Mayank Agarwal
After Vinay Kumar's six-wicket haul, Maharashtra were bundled out for just 245. After that came Mayank Agarwal's epic in which the opener outscored the opposition and finished with an unbeaten triple century to his name, only his third first-class century in 32 matches. On the back of his knock and centuries from R Samarth and Karun Nair, Karnataka posted a massive 628/5 before they declared and bowled out Maharashtra for 247 to claim an innings victory.
In the process, he became only the third player after KL Rahul and Karun Nair to hit a triple century for Karnataka in first-class cricket. What makes the innings even more impressive was the fact that he was dismissed for a duck in both innings of the last match against Hyderabad at home while he scored an unbeaten double century in Pune.
