Against most teams in ODIs, you would expect Sachin Tendulkar to be topping the batting charts. However, he falls second when it comes to scoring most runs in India-England contest. The Master Blaster had a splendid average of 44.09 against the Englishmen as he amassed 1455 runs against them.
He scored a couple of centuries as well 10 fifties against them. His strike rate is close to 90 which is astounding considering the time he has played. While he scored his first century against England in 2002, he will be remembered for the last one he scored in their 2011 World Cup encounter. He has also been dismissed for 99 once.
