#2 Virat Kohli - 4948 runs
The RCB skipper is arguably the best batsman of this generation and has achieved almost everything in his career from winning the World Cup to an overseas Test series win in Australia.
But the one thing that has eluded him is the IPL trophy. Since he took over the captaincy of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kohli has not been able to inspire his team to the IPL title in spite of having a potent top-order including his own remarkable batting prowess.
Kohli's best season by far has to be 2016 wherein he scored a mindboggling 973 runs at an average of over 80 and a marvelous strike rate of 150.
In his IPL career, Kohli has scored 4948 runs at an average of 38.35 and strike-rate of 130.76 in 163 matches.
