Stats: Top five captains in ODIs

Ricky Ponting has captained Australia to two World Cup championship victories

Here is a list of the top five captains in the history of ODI cricket based on their winning percentage. Only players who have captained their team in more than 100 ODIs are taken into consideration. Given their domination in this format over the last couple of decades, its only fair that the list has two entries each from Australia and South Africa. Ricky Ponting leads the list with a staggering percentile of 71.74 with 165 wins from 230 matches as captain.
