Gautam Gambhir anchored at one end even as wickets continued to fall at the other end but his contribution of 91 runs went a long way in securing the tie for India. MS Dhoni‘s presence at the crease at the beginning of the last over with just 9 runs required would have soothed a lot of nervous Indian fans back home but this was going to be the rare incomplete job.
