When you are defending a below-par score, it is very important for your bowlers to step up and make amends for the mistakes made by the batsmen.

England posted just 155 and their bowlers could not emulate their Australian counterparts as the hosts chased down the total with no fuss.

Although David Willey claimed 3 crucial Australian wickets in as many overs, he was looted for 28 runs.

Mark Wood and Adil Rashid also chipped in with one wicket each but both of them also conceded more than 7 runs an over.

Chris Jordan and Tom Curran bowled 4 overs each, remained wicketless and conceded 34 and 39 runs respectively.
