Sreesanth was banned for life by BCCI in 2013

Tainted Indian fast bowler S. Sreesanth, who was banned from playing cricket by BCCI in 2013 for alleged fulfilling of promises made to bookmakers in IPL. The BCCI’s disciplinary committee found him guilty of spot-fixing and banned him for life in September 2013.

Sreesanth made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 2005 and since then represented India in all three formats. He was also a member of India’s 2007 World T20 winning team. He has played 27 Test matches, 53 ODI’s and 10 T20Is for India in his career.

In the past, he was always in the news for his on-field aggressions and funny expressions. His dancing moves and hilarious celebration had been widely trolled by the public earlier.

However, the 33-year-old is now contesting the assembly elections in Thiruvananthapuram and while campaigning the tainted former cricketer tweeted a photo of himself which is subjected to various memes.
