Sachin Tendulkar is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in world cricket with most of the batting records to his name. And his friendship with former Indian cricketer and childhood friend Vinod Kambli was one of the most talked about friendships in Indian cricket.
The friendship started in school when they put on a world-record 664-run partnership in a school match. After some years, they both represented the Indian cricket team as their cordial relationship continued well into their careers.
However, the two best friends have fallen out in recent years with Kambli accusing Sachin of having ‘forgotten’ him. Kambli was not invited to Sachin’s post-retirement bash and wasn't mentioned in the latter's retirement speech either.

The most recent event in the ‘row’ came when Kambli referenced a quote in a tweet, which was supposedly aimed at his childhood best friend. Though he didn’t mention Sachin’s name, most observers feel that he was talking about the legendary Indian batting genius.
His tweet created a buzz around social media as Twitter users showed their sympathy to Kambli:
