Twitter reacts to Ravi Shastri's imminent return to commentary box

India’s outgoing Team Director Ravi Shastri expressed disappointment after Anil Kumble was announced as head coach on Thursday, saying that he wished that he had been given more time. He said that the tree he had planted had just begun to bear leaves, and it was sad that he was having to leave the team at this stage.

As beautiful as the image Shastri painted was, Twitter found reason to be excited at his return to the commentary box that this implies. While some were half-vindictive and half-joking, there were some who expressed their gratitude to Shastri for having done a good job in his time as well.
