The UP Warriorz obtained the services of Danni Wyatt for INR 30 lakhs in the WPL 2024 auction to complete their overseas quota. The highly-rated England international has scored two centuries in T20I cricket. She wasn’t a part of the first WPL edition and is an absolute steal at just INR 30 lakh.

The UP Warriorz bought five players for a combined fee of INR 2.1 crore at the WPL 2024 auction. Danni Wyatt was bought to strengthen their overseas batting contingent. Vrinda Dinesh, at INR 1.3 crore, was their costliest purchase at the mini-auction. Indian players Poonam Khemnar, Saima Thakor, and Gouher Sultana were acquired for base prices.

The UP Warriorz released four players ahead of the WPL 2024 mini-auction. Devika Vaidya, Shivali Shinde, and Simran Shaikh were the three Indian players to be let go by the Lucknow-based franchise, while South African pacer Shabnim Ismail was also released.
