Update - Muralitharan 'retires' from International Cricket

World’s legendary spinner, world’s highest wicket taker, master of doosra, yes theone and only one Muttiah Muralitharan announced that he will be taking retirement from International Cricket next month.

Murali will be playing his last match against India (1st test match) on 18th of July 2010.We will be seeing the end of an era, when all batsmen feared facing him. Murali, played for eighteen years in International cricket. Announcing his retirement, Muralitharan said that he will not play any international match but he may come out of his retirement if Sri Lanka needs his service in the 2011 ICC World Cup to be held in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh jointly.
