In a Sheffield Shield match between Queensland and Western Australia in the 1990s, there was an insane catch taken by Queensland fielder Trevor Barsby. Off the bowling of Adam Dale, Western Australian batsman Ryan Campbell flicked the ball off his pads but to everyone’s surprise, he was caught by Trevor Barsby at short leg despite having very little time to react.
Barsby’s effort is arguably one of the best reflex catches we have ever seen, with the Queenslander having less than a fraction of a second to complete the catch and send Campbell back to the pavilion.
