Video: The law of averages - Don Bradman out for a duck in his last innings

Legendary Australian cricketer Sir Donald Bradman had scored 29 centuries and 13 fifties in his 79 innings and needed just 4 in his last innings to bid adieu from international cricket with a career average of 100+.

The right-hander who once said he "doesn't believe in the law of averages" was indeed consumed by the same. The Don was only able to keep out the first delivery he faced, as the next one beat his defence to rattle the timber. With his 7th duck in Test cricket, his average dropped from 101.39 to 99.94.

Eric Hollies, the county cricket great who by the end of his career had 2323 first class wickets, is the leg-spinner who deceived the legend with his googly. This is the one dismissal Hollies is still remembered for.
