The specially challenged cricket team of India were in for a good surprise when the senior Indian team paid them a visit in Bengaluru, on the eve of the festival of lights, Diwali. The Indian team was also accompanied by their manager Ravi Shastri, according to BCCI.tv.
The team consisted of test skipper Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, bowlers Ishant Sharma, Varun Aaron & Umesh Yadav, all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Stuart Binny. The cricketers even briefly played with their specially challenged counterparts.
At the end of the session, Team India distributed sweets and gifts to the special team and made for a wonderful picture. For the special bunch of cricketers, it was a memorable day and one they’ll never forget for a long time.
The Indian team are currently preparing for the second test against South Africa at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, and will be looking to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the four-match series, after securing a convincing victory in Mohali.
