#5 Ishan Kishan
Having led the India U-19 squad in 2016, Ishan Kishan will have a bigger responsibility on his young shoulders as he will lead the Jharkhand squad for the upcoming Vijay Hazare trophy which will feature the likes of Varun Aaron, Saurabh Tiwary amongst others.
Kishan, who was part of the Gujarat Lions setup for the previous two seasons of IPL enjoyed a good season in the 2017/18 Ranji Trophy, accumulating 484 runs from 12 innings at an average of 44.
In the 2017 season of the IPL, the left-hander opened the batting for the Lions and amassed a total of 277 runs from 11 matches at an excellent strike rate of 134.46.
With MS Dhoni missing out due to national commitments, the onus will be on Ishan Kishan to lead the team and also lead from the front with the bat in hand.
