Priyank Panchal starred for Gujarat helping them notch up a 4 wicket win over Tamil Nadu at Chennai. For TN, Baba Indrajith was the top scorer, while Indian discard Piyush Chawla grabbed 3 wickets. Indrajith got support from Vijay Shankar and Abhinav Mukund but the total wasn’t enough as a stuttering Gujarat chased it down in 47 overs.

Out of favour left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem created a world record by picking up an astonishing 8 wickets against Jharkhand. He broke Rahul Sanghvi’s 2-decade old record to end with figures of 10-4-10-8.
"I didn't know until some people told me that I had broken the world record. It feels really good to play for the state (team) and do well and help it win matches," he later told PTI.
