Odisha 249/4 (B Samantray 63, S Singh 1/27) beat Delhi 240 (G Gambhir 44, D Bhera 2/25)

Odisha edged past Delhi in a closely fought Group B encounter at Delhi. The match was reduced to 44 overs a side. 4 of the top 5 Odisha batsmen posted fifties, taking their side close to 250. In reply, Gambhir held fort from one end even as wickets tumbled at the other.

Rishabh Pant gave a brief glimmer of hope in the middle and so did S Bhati, but the rest of the batsmen couldn't rise to the occasion.
