In the match held between Delhi and Chattisgarh at the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi, Delhi achieved an easy victory in a relatively low-scoring affair. After a failure by the top-order, including Gautam Gambhir, who scored just 10 runs, it was the middle-order and lower-order which helped Delhi reach 245 in 50 overs. Lakshay Tareja was the top-scorer, with 53 runs to his name in 72 deliveries.

In response, it was a similar story for Chattisgarh as well, whose top-order failed. A couple of batsmen in the middle and lower order performed decently but not well enough as they were bowled out 45 runs short of the target.

With this win, Delhi move up to second on the table.
