Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan take their partners for a trip to Goa

Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan have taken their camaraderie from the training ground to the beaches of Goa – with their partners in tow

Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan, two invaluable batsmen in the India team which is currently dominating South Africa in the Test series, were seen at Mumbai airport with their partners Anushka Sharma and Ayesha Mukherjee on Saturday, returning from a trip to the beaches of Goa.

The couples were clicked in Goa when one of their fans spotted them and demanded a quick selfie. They were also captured by the cricketer’s fan club members in the Goa airport earlier.

In Mumbai, Anushka posed readily with fans, while Kohli attempted to mock-hide his face from the cameras, lifting his bag towards his face.

Close friends Kohli and Dhawan will now meet with the rest of the team, rejuvenated after the short trip, as India get ready to face South Africa in Nagpur for the third Test which starts on Wednesday.

The two have played together for Delhi for many years before also playing for India, and it seems now that they are the perfect travelling partners as well.
