Mayank Agarwal's timely message to the Indian selectors

With the Indian squad for the West Indies Tests set to be picked over the weekend, Mayank Agarwal has sent a message to the Indian selectors by scoring a stroke-filled 90 for Board President's XI against the touring West Indian side.

Mayank's 90, along with Ankit Bawne's unbeaten 116, helped BP XI score 360/6 before declaring towards the fag end of the day. Mayank's fellow opener Prithvi Shaw was dismissed for 8 and Hanuma Vihari, who made his debut against England at the Oval, scored 3.

Shreyas Iyer scored a brisk 61 and skipper Karun Nair accounted for 29. Devendra Bishoo was the pick of the West Indies bowlers as he finished with figures of 3/104 while pacer Shannon Gabriel scalped two wickets.
