Kedar Jadhav gives an update on his hamstring injury
Kedar Jadhav, who injured his hamstring in the last night's Asia Cup 2018 final, is set to be out for a while. The right-hander, who just returned from a similar injury after missing three months action, was trying to steal a single and went off the field allowing the Indian batsmen to rotate strike and take the team closer to the target.
After the dismissal of Ravindra Jadeja, Jadhav returned to bat and took India to a thrilling last-ball win. After the match, the right-hander admitted that he could have suffered a "Grade I or II tear".
"I've been in this situation few months back. Knew field will be up in the end and will be easy to take one or two. The way Kuldeep batted gave me confidence too. I'm still a batsman who can bowl. It's at least Grade I or II tear. Let's see tomorrow," he said after the match.
