Virat Kohli to appear on Comedy Nights With Kapil

Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh was the latest guest to appear on Comedy Nights With Kapil, and now it’s been confirmed that Indian Vice Captain Virat Kohli will be the next guest on the show.

Kohli is currently geared up to lead the young Indian batting line up in the five match Test series in England next month starting on the 9th, and would certainly be looking to have a blast on the show before he heads out for national duty.

The news was first confirmed by the producer of the show, Preeti Simoes via twitter. “Ok so de entire comedy nights wid @kapilsharmak9 iz all set to shoot wid @imVkohli his fans our friendz ve bn waitin for dis day since de 1st ep .. So here’s to all of u .. N a big thanx to u @imVkohli for takin out time from sucha crazy schedule .. Supppaa xcited! (sic)”, she tweeted.

The show is one of the most popular shows on Indian television, hosted by stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma. He too took to twitter to reveal the news.

Virat who is also busy catching up with all the World Cup action, won’t be the first cricketer to appear on the show. The likes of Virender Sehwag, Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh have already made their presence felt on the show before.
