Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see, and Virender Sehwag recent act of kindness can inspire others.

The Delhi-born batsman recently came across the story of twelve-year-old Rishab from Ghaziabad, who like many other children was not able to continue his education because of his family’s financial position. The story was highlighted in a radio channel, and it got Sehwag’s attention.

“It just happened that I was listening to the radio and heard Rishab’s story,” Sehwag told NDTV. “I called the radio station and said that I would take the responsibility to provide free education to Rishab. It’s my or everybody’s moral duty if they can take one kid or two kids and give free education to them.”

Rishab who studies in the seventh-standard now was delighted with Sehwag’s kind gesture. “When Sehwag told me that he would sponsor my education, I was extremely happy. I can now study in a good school and in future I want to help and educate my younger sisters. I have a huge passion for cricket and one day, I would like to become a cricketer.”

Rishab will now be studying at the Sehwag International School in Haryana which is renowned for its cricketing facilities.
