St. John’s (Antigua) - The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has announced the regional Under-19 squad to face Bangladesh Under-19 in a seven-match One Day Series to be played in Guyana next month.

The squad announced Wednesday includes leading run-scorer in the recently concluded Regional U-19 Tournament, Trinidadian Jeremy Solozano and chief wicket-taker Gudakesh Moti-Kanhai, reports CMC.

The squad consists of six players from Jamaica who won the regional U-19 titles this year, claiming both the three-day and 50-over trophies.

Trinidad and Tobago wicketkeeper/batsman Nicholas Pooran was not considered for selection as he will be with the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force team participating in the Champions League Twenty20 tournament in India.

A WICB release said Pooran will join the West Indies U-19 squad if he become available following the Champions League.
