Dinesh Mongia
Dinesh Mongia made a name for himself after leading India to victory in an ODI series against Zimbabwe in 2001. However, he was quite inconsistent since then and failed to do much with the bat or the ball.
He managed to score just 9 runs in the final of the Natwest Series in 2002.
After his retirement, he took up various coaching roles. He was also a part of the rebel Indian Cricket League which does not exist anymore. He also acted in a few movies as well.
Sachin Tendulkar
The Master Blaster is arguably one of the world’s best ever batsmen. He single-handedly took India to multiple wins over the years. However, he failed to make an impact in the 2002 Natwest Series final as he was dismissed after scoring just 14 runs.
Since then, he went on to play for India for more than a decade and was India’s top scorer in the 2003 and 2011 World Cups.
Since his retirement, he wrote his autobiography and also starred in his biopic – Sachin! A Billion Dreams. He is also the mentor for the IPL team Mumbai Indians. He is also a member of the Parliament.
