Rahul Dravid
The “wall” of Indian cricket was known more his Test batting than his ODI batting. However, he did have some notable ODI performances as well. Unfortunately, he did not do much in the Natwest Series final in 2002 as he was dismissed for 5.
He went on to play for India for nearly 10 years after that before announcing his retirement. Since then, he continued to play in the IPL for a few more years.
He is currently the head coach of the Indian Under-19 and India A sides. He was also recently inducted into ICC’s Hall of Fame
Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh was one the stars of India’s win in the Natwest Series final in 2002. He scored 69 runs in 63 balls and put on a 121 run partnership along with Mohammed Kaif for the 5th wicket.
He went on to star for India in the inaugural World T20 in 2007 and World Cup in 2011 as well. He was named the man of the tournament in the latter.
He also fought cancer and made a comeback to cricket in 2012. However, inconsistent performances over the years have led to him being dropped from the side on a number of occasions. He continues to fight for his place in the Indian side.
