Where are they now: India's 2002 Natwest Series final winning team

Indian Team - The NatWest Series final

Mohammed Kaif

Mohammad Kaif The NatWest Series Final

Mohammed Kaif was the star of the show for India in the Natwest Series final as he top scored with an 87 run knock and took India to their most memorable victory.

He did not have a long career with the Indian cricket team as he was quite inconsistent with the bat. However, he continues to play cricket for the Chattisgarh state cricket team, which he captains.

Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh’s contribution with the end towards the end of the innings led India to victory in the final. He went on to become India’s lead spinner in ODIs and had a memorable career with the Men in Blue.

He played a big role in India’s World T20 win in 2007 and World Cup win in 2011.

While he has not yet retired from international cricket, it looks highly unlikely that he will make a comeback to the national team. He was a part of the Chennai Super Kings title winning side this year.
