Delano Potgieter won the Player of the Match award in SA20 season three's opening match. Playing for the MI Cape Town (MICT) against defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SEC), the all-rounder scored a quickfire 12-ball 25 and followed it up with a dream spell of 5/10 to help his team win by 97 runs.
