Louis Kimber grabbed the headlines yesterday for his excellent knock of 243 runs off just 127 balls for Leicestershire. Playing against Sussex in a County Championship Division Two match, Kimber smacked a double hundred in the fourth innings, but unfortunately for him, his team still ended up losing by 18 runs.

Notably, Louis Kimber showed no mercy to England's Test bowler Ollie Robinson, who was a part of the Sussex playing XI. Robinson conceded 43 runs in a single over when Kimber was on strike. It was the 59th over of Leicestershire's second innings, where Robinson bowled three no-balls (two penalty runs for each no-ball), while Kimber smashed 37 runs from the bat.

Kimber started the over with a six, followed by a four on a no-ball. The next three balls were legitimate deliveries, where Kimber hit 4, 6 and 4. Robinson bowled two no-balls in the next three balls, and Kimber hit him for 4, 4 and 4. Kimber ended the over with a single.

In this listicle now, we will look at the five things which fans should know about Leicestershire's newest star.
