A host of Indian cricketers took to social media platform to wish Gautam Gambhir on his 36th birthday.
Ever since making his debut way back in 2003, it took some time for Gambhir to establish himself as a great batsman and cement his place in the side. However, once he did, there was no stopping him.
He has had a memorable career with the Men in Blue and has produced a lot of match-winning innings along the way. He 97 run knock in the final of the 2011 World Cup was one of the main reasons for India winning the coveted trophy after 28 long years.

He also captained India for six matches during the 2010-11 season where the team did not suffer a single loss.
He is also the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise and has led them to IPL success on two occasions.
He is currently playing for Delhi in the Ranji Trophy and is fighting to make a comeback to the Indian side once again.
