The England squad for the tour to Bangladesh was announced earlier today and the big news from the selection point of view is the recall of off-spinner Gareth Batty, who has been recalled to the Test side after a gap of 11 years.
The 38-year-old’s last Test for his country was against the same opposition at Durham and will now perhaps play his first Test against Bangladesh in the series starting next month.
