Who Said What: World reacts to the release of MS Dhoni's biopic

The much-awaited biopic of Indian limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni was released on Friday and social media was abuzz in praise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who has essayed the role of the cricketer.

The movie looks at the journey of the player from humble beginnings in Ranchi to scaling the highest of highs in Mumbai during the 2011 World Cup and all the struggle that went during his journey to the top.

The real-life Dhoni himself had words of praise for Sushant, who he felt, had done a brilliant job in enacting him on the screen, admitting that he had got the mannerisms absolutely spot on.

"Sushant is exceptional, he has totally imitated me the way I talk, the way I walk, he has copied everything, that's the beauty of it. When we talk about cricket specifically, he has practised for 9 months, for two to two and a half hours every day, in fact now he can even participate as a cricketer, in between where there is off season for movies, he can go and play a lot of leagues,” he said.
