As the IPL-6 spot fixing case investigation continues, more and more allegations are now coming up. In total, around 27 people (including bookies and players) were arrested and 18 of them, including Sreesanth, have got bail.
Ajit Chandila’s bail, one of the arrested Rajasthan Royals players, is likely to be delayed as decided by the court.
Sunil Bhatia, an arrested bookie, who the Delhi police claims has links with Dawood, has direct links with Chandila, the bookie Tinku and Javed Chutani, who also is linked with Dawood’s crime syndicate as claimed by the Delhi police.
The Delhi police has given sufficient evidence to the court regarding the above stated links, after which the court decided to extend Bhatia’s custody by two days, which will eventually end on Friday and cancelled Chandila’s bail.
The Delhi Police registered the FIR on 9th May, with the charge of 120 B IPC (criminal conspiracy) and 420 IPC (cheating) against the players.
409 IPC was added on 19th May and MCOCA was appealed for on 3rd June.
