Virat Kohli has matured into the best batsman of this generation

If there is a batsman who can strike fear in the hearts of opposition teams and tear down the best bowling attacks of the world at his will, it has to be Virat Kohli. The swashbuckling right-handed batsman is a clean striker of the ball and is by far, the best cricketer in world cricket today.

He has very ably taken the mantle of captaincy from MS Dhoni and leads the 'Men in Blue' out onto the fields fearlessly, irrespective of whoever the opponent is. His captaincy records may not be as good as the likes of MS Dhoni and Sourav Ganguly, but he definitely has a long way to go.

Besides that, the number of records he has broken and created, are just a testimony to how good a player he is. Glory has always eluded the Indian skipper as a captain, and he would be desperate to rebrand his image as the third Indian captain to win the World Cup. Will luck be on his side, this time?
