#3 and #4 Romesh Kaluwitharana (twice)
Romesh Kaluwitharana represented Sri Lanka in 189 ODIs from 1990 to 2004. Opening the innings with Sanath Jayasuriya. he often got them off to rocking starts by smashing the fast-bowlers all around the park when the field restrictions were in place. Apart from his batting form at the top of the order, Kaluwitharana also had the extra burden of keeping wickets to the Lankan spin trio of Muttiah Muralidharan, Jayasuriya and Upul Chandana.
In the first game against Australia which was held at Galle on 22nd August 1999, Kaluwitharana was responsible for effecting the stumpings of Ricky Ponting, Tom Moody and Jason Gillespie. All off them were off bowling of Jayasuriya.
He also effected 3 stumpings in the fifth match of the Coco-Cola Champions Trophy at Sharjah on 18th October 1999 against Pakistan. He first stumped Wajahatullah Wasti off Upul Chandana in the 21st over. He was also responsible for the dismissals of Inzamam-Ul-Haq and Wasim Akram off Sanath Jayasuriya in the 34th and 46th over of the game respectively.
