Apart from representing India on countless matches across all three formats, MS Dhoni also played for Asia XI in the 2007 Afro-Asia Cup. In the third match of the tournament, Asia XI side won the toss and opted to bat first. Dhoni joined Mahela Jayawardena when their side was reeling at 72-5. The duo notched a 218-run partnership for the 6th wicket to help their team post a mammoth total of 331/8.
