The Women's Asia Cup 2024 T20 tournament will be played in Sri Lanka from July 19 to July 28. This year's event will be the ninth edition of the Women's Asia Cup. Of the previous eight, the first four were played in the one-day format, while the next four were held in the T20I format. India are the defending champions in the Women's Asia Cup and also the most successful side, with seven titles.

The 2024 edition of the tournament will begin with a match between the United Arab Emirates and Nepal at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla. Later in the day, arch-rivals India will take on Pakistan at the same venue. All the matches of the Women's Asia Cup 2024 will be played in Dambulla.

A total of eight teams will feature in the T20 tournament and have been divided into two groups of four each. The United Arab Emirates, Nepal, India, and Pakistan are in Group A, while Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh have been placed in Group B. The top two sides from each group will progress to the semifinals, which will be played on July 26, followed by the final on July 28.
