#4 Beth Mooney
With 486 runs from 16 matches, Beth Mooney finished the previous WBBL season as the third leading run-scorer and Brisbane's top run-getter. The opener's match-winning 46-ball 65 in the final helped Brisbane Heat capture their first trophy.
The wicket-keeper won the Player of the Match award in the summit clash for her efforts. This season all eyes will be on the charismatic batter, and opposition bowlers would have to work overtime to keep her contained.
#3 Delissa Kimmince
While Mooney was churning out loads of runs with her consistent batting last season, Delissa Kimmince was grabbing all the crucial dismissals with her spectacular bowling. These two players ensured that Brisbane always stayed ahead of their opponents.
Kimmince was the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 22 dismissals in 16 matches. The Brisbane bowler's best performance was her four-wicket haul against Melbourne Stars in the 50th WBBL match last season.
More such performances from her are expected this season.
