Women's Delhi Premier League 2024: Full schedule, squads, match timings, and live-streaming details

The Delhi and District Cricket Association has announced the inaugural season of the Women's Delhi Premier League 2024, scheduled to take place from Tuesday, September 2, 2024, to Saturday, September 7, 2024.

The upcoming T20 league will be the women's version of the ongoing DPL T20 (Delhi Premier League T20) 2024, featuring four teams representing four different zones from Delhi. Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi will be the host venue for all seven games, including the final.

The South Delhi Superstarz, based in South Delhi, are under the ownership of Real Force Resources Pvt Ltd. The East Delhi Riders, representing East Delhi, are owned by Areion Finserve Pvt. Ltd. The Central Delhi Queens, hailing from the Central Delhi zone, are owned by Utech Developers Pvt. Ltd., while the North Delhi Strikers, representing North Delhi, are owned by Gupta Jee Tent Services Pvt. Ltd.

A total of six league-stage matches are scheduled among the four teams in a single round-robin format. The top two teams in the points table will advance to the finals on September 8, Sunday.

Some of the top selections from the T20 league include Shweta Sehrawat, the former vice-captain of India’s 2023 U-19 Women’s World Cup team, the Indian team’s senior wicket-keeper batter Priya Punia, UP Warriorz (Women’s Premier League) wicket-keeper batter Laxmi Yadav, as well as Soni Yadav and Ayushi Soni.
