Smith retired in 2014 due to his poor form in international cricket. He had scored piles of runs in the Test cricket and was known for his incredible cricketing shots, temperament and his dedication to the game.

Now, Smith is not active in any of the T20 leagues around the world but is seen as a commentator in IPL and other cricket tournaments.

He also puts in his valuable views on the cricketing events taking place around the world and also works for the betterment of youngsters.
