#9 Shahid Afridi (Pakistan)

Nicknamed as Boom Boom Afridi, Shahid Afridi took his team to the semifinals of the 2011 WC where their journey came to an end after they were defeated by India at Mohali. ]
Shahid Afridi was the joint highest wicket-taker (21 wickets) of the 2011 world cup along with Zaheer Khan.
Shahid Afridi’s cricketing career has always been a controversial topic as the all-rounder has come out of retirement numerous times.
But, he finally retired from all forms of cricket in 2017 and we can hope that this was his final farewell. He had an impressive record as an all-rounder, especially in the T-20 format.
After all the up and downs in the international cricket, he is currently playing in T20 leagues worldwide. He is a part of the Peshawar Zalmi in PSL, Jamaica Tallawahs in the CPL, Dhaka Dynamites in the BPL and recently was also a part of the ICC World XI.
