In England’s dominant display against South Africa, there was one man who managed to impress many with his bowling skills - Jofra Archer.

The IPL sensation was on song as he picked up 3 wickets to get his team over the finish line. Archer ran riot over South Africa's middle order as he removed Aiden Markram, Rassie Van der Dussen and the skipper Faf du Plessis.

While Archer's deeds with ball mesmerized us all, it is worth remembering that he was a late entrant to England's World Cup squad. The Barbadian born wasn't included in England's initial list, but his recent displays against Pakistan and his splendid time with Rajasthan Royals in the IPL convinced the England selectors of his potential.

If England are to win the cup, then they need Archer to be at his wicket-taking best.
