Rohit Sharma became the first batsman to hit five hundreds in a single ICC Cricket World Cup as India cruised to a seven-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in their final group match at Headingley on Saturday.
In his 16th World Cup match, Sharma reached three figures in 92 balls and equalled the record of six World Cup centuries overall held by legendary compatriot Sachin Tendulkar.
