#1 20th Match, ICC World Cup 2015
The group stage match between the hosts of the 2015 World Cup was one of the best matches we have ever seen in World Cup history. Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. A five-wicket haul for Trent Boult ensured that New Zealand got the upper hand in the first innings. Brad Haddin tried to wage a lone battle but his efforts could take Australia to only 151.
In the second innings, Brendon McCullum hit a quickfire half-century to guarantee a win for New Zealand. However, Mitchell Starc's late burst brought Australia back in the game. The ice cool Kane Williamson did not lose his wicket and batted till the end.
With 6 runs required off 27 overs and just 1 wicket in hand, Williamson struck the first ball of Pat Cummins' over for a maximum and won the game for his team.
